black barn hill faqs on our lamb cuts

How long does it take to get your delivery of Black Barn Hill lamb?

Our lamb is processed to order so that it is always as fresh as possible. From the time you order, it takes about 8 days for processing and then a few days for us to organise delivery. In most cases, factor in a maximum of 14 days, as it will depend on the day you order and your delivery location as to how long this might be. For most people it won’t be this long.

Where do you deliver?

At the moment we deliver from Smithton to Launceston in the North West and down to Cressy in the Midlands. Sometimes we can deliver to your door, other times we will deliver to a central pick up point in major towns near you. For other arrangements please email us.

How much does it cost to deliver?

Nothing. Delivery is free unless we are doing a special delivery which we will negotiate with you.

How is your Black Barn Hill lamb packaged?

Each of the lamb cuts is vacuum packed, for food safety reasons. ½ a lamb fits into one cooler bag (similar to the one’s from Woolies or Coles!!) so make sure you have that much room in your fridge/freezer before your lamb arrives. Double the size if you want a whole lamb

I’d like to use your lamb in my restaurant, can I get it in different cuts?

We would love to hear from you. Send us an email and we can discuss what you might need.

I live in another area of Tassie or another state, can I still get your lamb?

We would love to hear from you. Send us an email and we can discuss what you might need.
